Back on Track

Dear friends,
lazy Iris is back. In fact, some anonymous guy came over my blog and posted a comment. It reminded me how much I do enjoy sharing my impressions with you and that I should keep on going with that.

Well, a lot of things have happened, as always. We're back again with tights, autumn colours, tea and biscuits ... seems like it was just yesterday that I wrote my last entry. To sum it up: I gave up the Como - Zurich - Como adventure in June, spent this summer off and finally had the time-out I'd already planned a long time ago. Lake side relaxing in July, going back to the roots in August and coming back to life in September. This could be the subhead! ;-)

I was searching for the big WOW, hoping that one day I will wake up and see again what it's all about. But that just doesn't happen in one single day. It's a slow movement ... the turning point was during a week in Southern Tyrol (Dolomites) when I arrived at the peak of Piz Boè (the highest one of the Sella mountain group).

Exhausting at the beginning, stunning at the end. Like so many things in life ...

And for sure there were several pieces of music during the last months ... one of them I heard on the radio during a car ride in July. A song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in the 60s - performed by Chris Farlowe: "Out of Time"! I love this song and the video is pure entertainment ...

So guys, I am preparing for another trip to Austria and Germany ... and I will keep on writing. I promise!

Love,
Iris
